Develops cognitive based programs and provides structured group activities to person served to develop life skills and personal enrichment through meaningful activities and to meet specific rehabilitation needs. Participates in treatment team meetings, develops day program treatment goals, and maintains administrative responsibilities. Provides leadership to staff and person served in assigned group room.

The position primarily involves full-time neuropsychological assessment from the office in Mount Laurel, with travel to additional sites depending on clinical needs. Referral sources primarily include outpatient neurology clinics and other physicians, as well as assessment of individuals who reside within Bancroft’s programs. The neuropsychologist provides supervision and mentorship to postdoctoral fellows/interns/students, as assigned. Other tasks may include engaging in/managing research projects, managing neuropsychological testing equipment, and lecturing in seminars, webinars, and community outreach. The applicant must be board certified eligible with the goal of achieving board certification in approximately 5 years for early-to-mid-career neuropsychologists. The applicant must be licensed as a clinical psychologist in the state of New Jersey, and all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

Our services include special education, vocational training, supported employment, structured day programs, group home and apartment programs both on-campus and in the community, short-term behavioral stabilization services for children, and in-home and outpatient rehabilitation services.
The Therapeutic Activities Specialist provides supportive and structured day services that develop life skills and personal enrichment through meaningful and productive activities. Develops active treatment programs designed to further enhance the skills of each person by using, but not limited to, music, art, horticulture, health and wellness, and/or multi-sensory experiences.
Background in Performing Arts requested, and ability to play an instrument (Guitar, Ukulele, Keyboard) preferred.
