Bancroft is currently seeking a Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapist to join our NeuroRehab team located in Brick, NJ


Develops cognitive rehabilitation programs and provides direct, consultative, and supportive cognitive rehabilitation  treatment and services to persons served in their home and essential community environments.  Supervises cognitive rehabilitation  specialists. This includes:

  •  Effectively utilizes available information regarding therapy and treatment for each person served. Develops cognitive rehabilitation and treatment-specific goals and objectives;
  • Identifies and implements the design of functional strategies and the need for adaptive equipment that enhances learning and creates an environment best suited to individual profile and needs. 
  • Provides family education and training in areas relevant to brain injury rehabilitation.
  • Assists persons served and family in identifying and accessing local community resources including allied health professionals, adaptive equipment, medical supplies, and ancillary therapies where needed.   
  • Provides individual case management and utilization review services for assigned case load, including written and oral communication with external case management and funding personnel. 
  • Makes recommendations for modifications to individual treatment plans where appropriate.


Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Neuroscience or a related field required.  Prior experience working with neurologically-impaired individuals preferred.  Must meet the certification criteria as defined by the Society for Cognitive Rehabilitation.
