    Bancroft is currently seeking a per diem Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to work with our Adults in the NeuroRehab program located in Toms River, NJ.



    In collaboration with Licensed Occupational Therapist and operating in accordance with the client’s established treatment plan, performs standardized diagnostic assessments of the need for occupational therapy and assists in the development of treatment plans for individual students, as needed or as assigned:  


    • Reviews clinical records of individual clients, administers standardized testing, performs clinical observations, conducts screenings, and provides recommendations for service delivery to Licensed Occupational Therapist for review, interpretation, approval, and incorporation into the clients’ treatment plan;
    • Assists Licensed Occupational Therapist in the planning and development of goals specific to occupational therapy and treatment services that are relevant, achievable, and measurable. Under clinical supervision of Licensed Occupational Therapist, and following the clients’ established treatment plan, provides direct and consultative services in occupational therapy to clients, family members, and staff members:
    • Effectively utilizes available information regarding therapy, treatment, and medical history for each client.
    • Provides assistance in the development of occupational therapy and treatment-specific individual rehabilitation  goals and objectives;


    Education & Experience:

    Associate degree in Occupational Therapy required with Registration by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).  Current N.J. State licensure as a COTA is required.  Prior experience working with individuals with traumatic and acquired brain injury and other neurological diagnoses preferred.
