    Bancroft is a leading provider of programs and supports for children and adults with autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, and those in need of neurological rehabilitation. Our services include special education, vocational training and supported employment, structured day programs, campus and community living programs, short-term behavioral stabilization services for children, in-home and outpatient services.

     

    About the High School Program
    Over the years, Bancroft has continued as a leader in our field, making our extensive experience just one of the many benefits of a Bancroft education. The Bancroft High School/Vocational Program has a position available for a Special Education Paraprofessional.  This program helps smooth this process for students with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities, ages 14 – 18.

    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:
    Provides assistance and support to Teacher in the planning and implementation of classroom instruction to specifically meet the educational needs of the assigned student.  Provides encouragement and support to the student to contribute to the best possible educational experience.

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience:
    At least 60 college credits required. Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a related field with prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
