Bancroft is a leading service-provider for children and adults with autism, other intellectual or developmental disabilities or those in need of neurological rehabilitation.
Bancroft is currently seeking Program Managers (Direct Support Managers) who will provide oversight and management for our Community group homes including: daily operations, activities, and environmental safety to ensure ongoing quality of care to the individuals served.
About the Children's Community program:
Bancroft’s Community Residences help children and adolescents with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities overcome severe behavioral challenges and thrive in homes in a community setting. Our contemporary Community Residences are located in southern New Jersey towns where children and adolescents live more independently after having developed necessary living, social and cognitive skills.
Essential Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of senior management, the Program Manager will support, monitor and supervise the Program Associates within their program. Designs, implements, monitors, and evaluates community support services that help people live as valued, contributing and self-determined members of their community. Manager must possess the physical, mental, and emotional capabilities to successfully supervise a diverse staff.
This position requires a high degree of problem-solving, flexibility, independent thinking, organization, prioritization of duties, excellent communication, and relationship-building skills. Leaders in this role must be able to work within a team to achieve a common goal – to provide opportunities to children and adults with diverse challenges to maximize their potential.
Education & Experience:
Persuing degree in relevant field with 3-5 years supervisory experience
Experience working with individuals with I/DD challenges
