    Bancroft is currently seeking a Leave Coordinator to join our Human Resources department at our Cherry Hill, NJ headquarters.  

    Responsibilities

    • Confirm FMLA eligibility and submit applicable forms
    • Provide accurate information to employees and management as it relates to FMLA and Short Term Disability leaves
    • Confirm that time cards are coded accordingly to reflect leave codes and available PTO
    • Monitor and track the employee portion of health benefit premiums while on unpaid leave of absence
    • Responsible for completion of NJ State Short Term Disability claim forms and other applicable leave related forms
    • Other projects as assigned
    • Travel maybe required

    Qualifications

    • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 1-3 years’ experience in HR/Benefits related position- leave of absence management, return to work programs, disability management, ADA case management or workers’ compensation
    • Experience working with injuries/illness and physical limitations
    • Working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to leave of absence management, including but not limited to FMLA, ADA disability benefits, workers’ compensation and return to work.
    • Develop an understanding of the physical job requirements in conjunction with input from managers to help facilitate a return to work, when disability or illness requires accommodation.
    • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills as the candidate will need to frequently interact with various HR professionals and senior management
    • Proficiency in MS Word
    • Teamwork and collaboration-orientated, with the ability to work independently
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, operate within tight deadlines, and escalate issues as necessary
    • Self-motivated and results driven
    • Experience with Kronos is a plus
