    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

     

    The Technology Training Specialist position is essential to provide instruction to staff on current software applications and systems. The Technology Training Specialist is responsible for the design,development, coordination, delivery, documentation and maintenance of technical training delivered at Bancroft. The Technology Training Specialist partners with Bancroft’s Corporate Training team to integrate technology training into the corporate training curriculum.

     

    Essential Responsibilities:

     

    • Provide training, using various learning modalities, to Bancroft staff on software applications and systems.  
    • Create and maintain a monthly training schedule published to Bancroft Intranet (The Buzz)
    • Complete monthly reports on training sessions held within the organization and maintain database of training provided.
    • Create and maintain a catalog of courses that can be delivered through various modes including in-person and via the web.
    • Develop and maintain user guides, videos, presentations, and other training materials as required/
    • Participate in project team discussions as necessary to develop and administer training for new solution rollouts, primarily for our CRM (Salesforce), EHR (COCentrix CCP), and EDMS (GlobalSearch) systems.
    • Evaluate support request trends to determine and implement new training opportunities.
    • Work Closely with the BTS Management team as well as the HR Training team to stay abreast of the organizations technology training needs and develop content and training strategies in support of those needs.

    Position Requirements:

    • Experience with mobile devices (e.g. tablets, smartphones, netbooks, laptops)
    • Must have a reasonable understanding of multiple operating systems such as: Windows, ChromeOS, iOS, Android.  
    • Must demonstrate an advanced understanding of Google G-Suite productivity suit.
    • Experience planning and successfully delivering large and small group training classes.
    • Ability to work well and maintain composure under the pressures of a dynamic educational environment  
    • Must be available to work occasional prolonged and irregular hours.
    • Strong leadership and personal management skills  
    • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal  
    • Must possess an ability to, and regularly demonstrate collaboration with, peers in a clear and concise manner  
    • Must maintain the ability to meet deadlines  
    • Must possess a high degree of analytical and troubleshooting abilities in order to provide effective training in synchronous and asynchronous environments  
    • Maintain a positive attitude when dealing with all staff

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree Required, OR, 8 years experience
    • 3-5 years experience as a technology trainer or similar field.  
    • Experience with computer applications including Google Applications, Electronic Document Management software, Customer Relationship Management software .  Prior experience in a clinical or medical environment preferred. Knowledge of electronic health records and healthcare information regulations beneficial.
