The Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will primarily be a team leader and psychiatric clinician for the Children's Community program, supporting approximately 50 individuals. The ideal applicant has entrepreneurial and innovative ideas, as well as strong clinical acumen, and will work with a team of professionals (behavior analysts, psychologists, direct support professionals) in improving the lives of children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A focus on building strong relationships, promoting a culture of safety, and actively involving families in the treatment of their loved one is desired. Works under the direction of the The Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Currently enrolled and working towards a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license.
