    About the Cherry Hill, NJ Adult Residential location:

    The Cherry Hill, NJ location is an adult residential program that provides 24 hour care to our clients recovering from traumatic/acquired neurological injuries. The program specializes in assisting these adults with activities of daily living in the group home setting.  In addition, we proactively help our clients regain their independence and participate in social and recreational community activities.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Program Manager will support, monitor and supervise the Program Associates within their program.
    • Designs, implements, monitors, and evaluates community support services that help people live as valued, contributing and self-determined members of their community.
    • The Manager must possess the physical, mental, and emotional capabilities to successfully supervise a diverse team.
    • This position requires a high degree of problem-solving, flexibility, independent thinking, organization, prioritization of duties, excellent communication, and relationship-building skills.

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience:

    • High school diploma with a minimum of three years of work experience providing direct service for persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities required. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field highly preferred.
    • Bancroft NeuroRehab Program Managers are required to achieve certification from the American Academy for the Certification of Brain Injury Specialists (AACBIS) within the first 18 months of employment, and maintain ongoing annual certification requirements.

     

    Special Skills: Prior experience in managing operations and services to special populations in residential, educational, vocational, and community-based settings. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form required. Basic math skills required. Effective interpersonal skills, a strong desire to work with neurologically-challenged individuals required, and the ability to implement crisis intervention techniques required. Effective time management, organization, and prioritization skills required.
