The Bancroft School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher Assistant to support our educational team at our Voorhees Pediatric facility. In this role, you will work closely with classroom Teachers to help plan and implement instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student.

You will play an important role in creating a supportive learning environment that encourages student growth, independence, and success.

• Support Teachers in delivering individualized instruction based on student needs
• Assist in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities
• Encourage and support students to achieve their highest potential
• Help maintain a structured, safe, and positive learning environment
• Provide additional classroom coverage as needed, including supporting one-to-one students or stepping in when required

Associates degree in a related field or 60 college credits required. NJDOE substitute teacher’s certification required. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field and prior experience working with individuals with special needs preferred.

The position may require the ability to lift, assist with physical mobility, and engage in activities that require bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
