As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll play a key role in supporting adults with brain injuries and neurological conditions on their journey toward greater independence. Through hands-on assistance, rehabilitation activities, and daily living support, you’ll help each person live their best life.

 

We currently have an open part-time Day Support Associate position in our Adult Residential Program in Brick, NJ.

Responsibilities

How You Can Make a Real Impact: 

  • Support individuals in regaining skills and independence through structured rehabilitation programs

  • Assist with daily living activities, social and recreational engagement, and behavioral programming

  • Promote a positive, empowering, and stable environment for those in your care

  • Encourage independence through personalized plans of care and ongoing support

  • Lead recreational and therapeutic activities that foster engagement, connection, and joy

  • Provide transportation to and from day programs, rehabilitation services, appointments, and community activities

  • Communicate effectively with residents’ families and loved ones to ensure continuity of care and strong support networks

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

High School diploma or GED, valid Driver’s License, six months related work experience, or, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field or currently enrolled in a related college program are required. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred

 

The current hiring range for this position is$18.78-$19.16 per hour.
