Bancroft is actively seeking an ABA Specialist to join our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Center of Excellence; a team of approximately 50 Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs/BCBA-Ds) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs) providing services across our organization, along with approximately 45 clinicians who are graduate students accruing fieldwork.  We work together to treat challenging behavior, build skills and have the ability to collaborate with a large group of like-minded clinicians.

 

We are looking for an ABA Specialist for our children’s campus residential program in Mt. Laurel NJ. The campus program serves children, primarily with ASD and related diagnoses, who experience behavioral challenges.  The residential treatment program includes an interdisciplinary approach to care, rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis. ABA Specialists work under the close supervision of BCBAs to assess and treat challenging behavior, build skills and have the ability to collaborate with a large group of like-minded clinicians.

Responsibilities

The ABA Specialist, with BCBA oversight,  creates and coordinates the development and implementation of behavior analytic services within the Individual Service Plan and Behavior Intervention Plan.

  • Coordinates the development, implementation and training of behavior plans; this includes functional behavior assessment/analysis, preference assessments and treatment evaluations.  
  • Develops and monitors data collection systems, engages in ongoing data review and analysis to ensure effective programming.  
  • Identifies training needs and develops and conducts those trainings to ensure the ongoing knowledge and ability to effectively implement behavior plans.  
  • Participates in clinical case review meetings (rounds) to ensure proper data review and discussion of the needs of persons’ served.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of six months experience in Human Services or related field required. In programs where the incumbent is required to serve as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP), one year of experience is required.
  • Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis preferred.
